That is Very Good News indeed. I say that as a member of the 7th generation descended from Huguenot settlers (1752). After many years of wanting to know more about the history of the settlers, ‘really not hard to find, I have begun to appreciate that there is so little physical trace or formally recorded history of the First Nations peoples who were here for 1000s of years before my ancestors arrived. I wish that we also, could and would ‘leave no [physical] trace’ and, like the Mi’kmaq, view all land as sacred.
