What one can do to document the state of a NS Crown land forest, before or after logging

“What can we do?” is a common question many Nova Scotians ask when they are frustrated by the extent and intensity of logging on Crown lands in Nova Scotia, or just by a clearcut next door.
One response – do some documentation of a Crown land forest or forest stand that you value, preferably before it is harvested (or even before it’s on the books to be harvested), but documenting the state of a forest stand after it is harvested can be also be informative.
